The HP Designjet T1300 PostScript ePrinter is everything the T1300 ePrinter is—with the addition of the PostScript accessory which enables you to print TFF, JPEG and PDF files directly from a USB thumb drive. Neat feature—and by purchasing it already installed on this T1300 you save a little money. Always a good thing in any business, right?
As far as we’re concerned, HP really nailed it with the Designjet T1300. It is the first large-format ePrinter designed for larger workgroups, and HP has built in some great features to help boost productivity and save time at your workplace. Perhaps the most exciting feature is the color touchscreen. It’s so intuitive, everyone’s going to love using it—and they may not even need a tutorial!
Beyond the user-friendly interface, though, lies the incredible power of HP’s ePrint & Share program. This free web service makes it possible to print remotely to the Designjet T1300 (or any other web-enabled Designjet printer) with your smartphone, tablet or laptop--without even installing any drivers. Another big plus of having a web-enabled printer: Software updates are done automatically every 6 months via the web.
Of course, bean counters everywhere want specifics on how this beauty can save time and money. The ability to load two rolls of paper—the same size or different size (even different type of paper!)—means no more wasted time hassling with unloading and reloading paper rolls and less wasted paper. Because installation and maintenance routines are more efficient, there is also less wasted ink. On top of that, HP has hit the mother lode with their Economode print setting-- exceptional quality printouts at up to 2 A1/D sized copies per minute! Can we get a fist pump from accounting?
